Starting $24 per hour Mount Prospect, IL Onsite Share on Job Description Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday Pay: $24 Position required in Person interview Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Export Associate to support our export operations team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end handling of outbound export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and physical shipment preparation in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Shipment Handling: Prepare, organize, and process export shipments in accordance with company procedures and applicable export regulations. System Updates: Accurately enter and maintain Air Waybill (AWB) details and shipment information within internal tracking and management systems. Documentation Management: Upload, organize, and verify all required export paperwork including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels to ensure compliance and traceability. Physical Shipment Manipulation: Safely handle, move, and weigh outbound shipments as part of the export preparation process. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant export control laws, company policies, and standard operating procedures. Collaboration: Coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment dispatch. Requirements Physical Capability: Must be able to independently lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry and documentation handling. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using internal systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP/WMS platforms). Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners. Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing in a deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in export operations, logistics, or warehouse environments. Familiarity with Air Waybill (AWB) processes and export documentation.
