About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ year License: Pending License accepted: No Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have at least one year experience with Epic EMR. Candidates must have strong Cardiac Tele experience. Description: The role requires managing patients with cardiac diagnoses related to chest pain and arrhythmias. Candidates will be expected to provide care to adults in a stepdown cardiac setting. Important skills include managing telemetry and performing various cardiac procedures. Candidates must be familiar with hemodynamic monitoring and administer cardiac drips per protocols. The expected patient ratio is 4:1. Staff may need to float to other units as required by facility needs. Weekly weekend shifts are required during the 6-week schedule period. Reimbursement for specific pre-assignment tasks may apply. Completion of necessary modules prior to starting the contract is required.
