Deli Cook

Lunds & Byerlys Maple Grove is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing Full -time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a Full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $26.25 - $29.13/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 2:00pm - 10:00pm with weekend and evening availability.

FOOD SERVICE COOK RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Food Service Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Preparing chef-created deli recipes
• Greeting and assisting customers
• Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads
• Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education:
   1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Experience:
   1. Customer service experience preferred
   2. Minimum of one (1) years cooking experience in deli or food service
3. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
   1. Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
   2. Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
