Role Overview: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Home Health provides personalized care to help patients regain mobility and independence. Supported by clear processes and a collaborative team, the PTA delivers therapeutic exercises, applies physical therapy modalities, monitors patient progress, and educates patients and families on device use and home exercises. Key Responsibilities: Perform therapeutic exercises and functional training Apply physical therapy techniques to reduce pain and restore function Monitor and document patient responses Educate on assistive devices and home programs Collaborate with care team members to enhance patient outcomes Qualifications & Skills: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA), associate degree, valid driver license. No prior experience required.
