Exciting opportunity to support elementary students and make a significant impact as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming academic year! This contract position runs from October 21, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent 30-hour workweek and a manageable caseload of 55 elementary students. What we’re looking for:

• Valid SLPA license for California
• Prior experience in school-based and/or healthcare settings
• Familiarity with elementary-aged children and their communication needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to various student learning styles and needs
• Commitment to maintaining documentation and implementing therapy plans

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of an SLP
• Support implementation of IEP goals and maintain detailed progress notes
• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments as directed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to maximize student success
• Help develop engaging materials and activities tailored to individual student needs
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
