Sheet metal contractor in Ooltewah, Tennessee that manufactures fabricated parts, weldments, finished products, and machined parts in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other materials is hiring a Material Handler / Forklift Driver in Shipping and Receiving on Day shift. $18 - 20 / hour to start. As a Material Handler / Forklift Driver you will be responsible for moving large heavy materials such as 20 foot steel plates and 40 foot metal tubing off trucks. Responsibilities of this Material Handler / Forklift Driver includes:- Work in the Shipping/Receiving Department
- Load and unload trucks with forklift
- Move materials to and from workstations
- Pack items and prepare for shipping
- verifiable safe forklift experience
- ability to read blueprints
- ability to measure and cut wood to build skids
- basic computer skills
- knowledge of shipping and receiving
