We are seeking a Merchandiser to join our team (Monday-Friday, day shift) at a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, plus bonuses. Merchandisers perform a variety of functions related to merchandising wine and spirits in customer accounts. Duties include:
- Building, installing, and maintaining in-store displays and racks for the chain and independent retail division
- Installing vinyl graphics on windows and storefronts
- Hanging or mounting items on walls or from ceilings
- Communicating with graphic designers to request printed material
- Communicating with chain and independent retail divisions about customer accounts
- Maintaining a strong customer service relationship with our customers
- Driving to customer accounts using a company vehicle
- Using a phone and basic hand tools to complete assigned tasks
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to lift and stack cases averaging 40 lbs. each
Ability to climb ladders and use basic hand tools for assembling or mounting
Grocery or wine/spirits store experience preferred
Ability to obtain State of Tennessee ABC Wholesalers Employee permit
Valid Driver's License with ability to meet company driving history requirements
Drug and background checks required
