Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Canandaigua, NY | Part-Time

Elm Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for a COTA who is passionate about helping patients and residents achieve their therapy goals while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Assist patients with therapeutic activities and interventions designed to improve functional independence

• Develop positive relationships with patients, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress

• Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and facility standards

• Collaborate with the therapy team to support positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current New York COTA license/certification required

• Previous skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
