Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Petersburg, Virginia

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Petersburg, VA, within a retail and long-term care setting. This per diem position offers a focused schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent work routine.

Responsibilities include accurately distributing medications prescribed by physicians and health practitioners, delivering important information to customers about their medications, and maintaining a high standard of customer service to support patient care and satisfaction. The role demands attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy pharmacy environment.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Valid Virginia pharmacy technician license
Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings, enhancing familiarity with medication distribution and customer interaction
Commitment to superior patient service and clear communication skills

Schedule:

Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
