Clinical Pharmacist
Location - 100% Remote
# of Positions - 1 Position
Shift/Hours - Training hours are 8:00am 5:00pm, Monday Friday (flexibility). Regular hours (after training) 10-15 hours per week, PRN (schedule will vary and will have flexibility). Candidates in all US time zones will be considered.

Job Description - Clinical pharmacists: this role ensures the injured workers are receiving the right care through the appropriate clinical intervention method. Responsible for collaborating with cross functional clinical experts to make recommendations.
Key Functions
- Assessing prescription appropriateness by reviewing patient medical history, drug interactions, and potential adverse effects to identify potential medication issues and recommend adjustments
- Utilizing data analytics to identify trends in medication usage, potential drug safety concerns, and opportunities for cost savings
- Review medication requests from providers to determine if medication should be dispensed or not
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to educate them on appropriate medication use, including clinical guidelines and drug interactions
Skills/Requirements
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and collaboration skills
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
- Current active pharmacy (RPh) license in good standing
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate clinical data and make informed medication decisions
Education
Professional (J.D., M.D., D.D.S. or PharmD) Pharmacy (RPh) License
