That’s why we need you, a seasoned network security engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs. As a network security engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, TCP/IP ports and protocols, and network traffic flow to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll troubleshoot, design, and deploy network security policy to increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical networked applications.Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have:   2+ years of experience with Illumio Core or Illumio Endpoint in a production environmentExperience with Zero Trust Architecture and micro segmentation strategiesExperience with cloud environments and hybrid IT infrastructuresExperience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls with layer 3 and 4 security policiesKnowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and ACLsActive TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examHS diploma or GEDAbility to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification such as CEH, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification within 30 days of start dateAbility to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification within 30 days of start dateNice If You Have:   Experience integrating Illumio with SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability management platformsExperience with container security and Kubernetes micro segmentationKnowledge of regulatory compliance frameworksIllumio Certified Professional CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
