We are seeking a mature, compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential support to our client in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The ideal candidate will possess a nurturing spirit, demonstrate patience, and adhere to high standards of care while assisting individuals with daily living activities. This role is crucial in helping our clients maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist client with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.- Support client with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.- Prepare and serve nutritious meals - Medication reminders- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.- Help with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.- Assist clients with grocery shopping and running errands if needed- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in personal care assistance is a plus.- Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role preferred.- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
