Outpatient Physical Therapist

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and will perform other professional duties related to patient care and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients, utilizing clinical reasoning for developing appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision and feedback.
• Create and actively pursue an individualized professional development plan.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards and discipline-specific practices.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable license for the state in which services will be performed.
• Prior experience with the agency is highly desired.

Schedule

This position will follow a 5x8.0 schedule, with consistent work hours designed to support effective patient management.
