Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication skills, language abilities, fluency, vocal quality, and swallowing function.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to establish cohesive treatment strategies.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education to enhance progress outside the clinical environment.
• Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and therapy to guarantee holistic continuity of care.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation compliant with state, federal, and healthcare organization standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
