About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state radiologic technologist license Certifications: ACLS required Must-Have: Critical care background with cardiac cath lab or radiology interventional procedures experience Advanced skills in interventional procedures Description: This position involves travel within the specialty of interventional radiology. The technologist will assist in various interventional procedures. Procedures performed may include peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. The candidate will work with advanced imaging equipment and documentation systems. Scheduling requirements include Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call duties. The organization is committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare. Additional certifications such as ACLS are required. Proper hospital-provided scrubs must be worn as per dress code. Unit policies and guidelines will be followed during the assignment.
