To thrive in this role, you will:

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Carry out physical therapy interventions that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes.
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercise routines.
• Ensure thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress that adheres to facility and regulatory standards.
• Engage actively in care team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee a cohesive care approach.

You will need:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited program.
• A state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification is preferred but not required. Specialized credentials (e.g. neurological therapy, geriatrics) are a plus, though not mandatory.
