As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Newark, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity or policy concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including business areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
