Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for this position on behalf of a local Maryville company.
Are you mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machines, tools, and production equipment? This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, making repairs, and helping keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
• Operate and monitor industrial production machinery
• Identify equipment problems and complete corrective repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to reduce production downtime
• Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Perform basic cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance
• Inspect equipment and report safety or quality concerns
• Follow production procedures and workplace safety requirements
What We’re Looking For
• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Manufacturing, machine operation, or maintenance experience preferred
• Equipment repair or troubleshooting experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with industrial or production environments is helpful
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new technical skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Willingness to take initiative and stay productive throughout the shift
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the shift
• Able to perform active, hands-on work each day
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
