Investment Accountant

DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Investment Accountant. In this role, you will support investment operations, portfolio management, and investor relations while contributing to market research and financial analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with venture-backed companies and play a key role in their financial success.Responsibilities:• Conduct thorough market research and analyze competitive landscapes to evaluate investment opportunities.• Support due diligence by reviewing documents, conducting reference calls, and performing financial analysis.• Prepare comprehensive investment summaries and materials for Investment Committee meetings.• Monitor portfolio and investment data in Salesforce to ensure accuracy and consistency.• Track follow-on investments and analyze company performance metrics to support reporting processes.• Assist with quarterly reporting and annual portfolio valuations in collaboration with external auditors.• Coordinate and document Investment Committee meetings, including preparing materials, taking minutes, and managing follow-up.• Support investor relations by maintaining records, preparing meeting materials, and coordinating events.• Conduct sector analysis and contribute to the preparation of annual investment landscape reports.• Maintain and update datasets related to regional venture financing activity and portfolio performance.Requirements• A minimum of 5 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, consulting, finance, or a related analytical field.• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.• Prior experience working with startups or early-stage companies is highly desirable.• Familiarity with venture capital financing structures and startup ecosystems.• Proficiency in using systems like Salesforce is a plus.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information.• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, a proactive work style, and a collaborative mindset.Job typePerm
