Sterile Tech Profession: Sterile Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Experience: 4 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) via HSPA Must-Have: Travel experience with the presenting agency Description: Unit Notes: 13-week assignment with the possibility to extend. Looking for travel experience. Three total needs for SPD. Heavy Ortho and Hearts cases are included. Robust Robotics available. There are 13 operating rooms with 10-12 open daily. Expect an average of 35-40 cases per day. SPD does not work with Endoscopy. No call required. Shift times available: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend coverage required, approximately every fifth weekend. Cancellation policy allows for two shifts per 13-week assignment and one shift for assignments less than 13 weeks. Charting system used is MEDITECH.
