Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients upon intake, gathering crucial information regarding their history, mental health status, and specific needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, outlining therapeutic goals, expected outcomes, and timelines for progress.
• Implement various evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, adapting approaches as necessary based on client responses.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any changes in their condition in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team that may include psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and counselors to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current on advancements in social work practices, mental health treatment, and relevant legislation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on working with diverse individuals experiencing challenges related to substance use and mental health concerns. Clients may include those dealing with trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive symptoms, highlighting the importance of personalized, solution-oriented treatment plans that promote recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to provide thoughtful, empathetic responses to clients' needs.
• Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving in fast-paced situations while maintaining a focus on client-centered care.
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and familiarity with evidence-based practices relevant to addiction and mental health treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital client management systems to facilitate remote service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
