Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.

- Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility and strength.

- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.

- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.

- Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques.

- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or a related field.

- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
