About the Position

Stepdown RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure, pending license okay but must be active prior to start Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience Description: Stepdown RN needed for a surgical and step-down unit. The position requires a strong background in nursing. Experience in a blended nursing unit with various patient diagnoses is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with patient care for adults and geriatrics. The role involves managing a diverse range of patient cases, including trauma and respiratory failure. The unit cares for patients who have undergone general surgery, GI bleed, sepsis, and other medical conditions. The RN will be responsible for monitoring and managing patient care. Expect a daily patient census of approximately 48. Nursing staff will work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support. This is an opportunity to enhance clinical skills in a dynamic setting.
