MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or bachelor degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Educational Technology, or equivalent work experience required
• Knowledge in the areas of mobile devices, interactive whiteboards/displays, Microsoft/Windows application, Chromebooks, G-Suite for Education, and Learning Management Systems required.
• Building or district level IT experience preferred
• Experience programming/scripting with Python, SQL, PowerShell, or Google Apps Script is highly desirable for automating custom workflows and reports, along with experience working with APIs (REST/JSON) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) file transfers preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn new computer hardware and software programs, and be able to teach others how to use new hardware and software programs
• Advocate for and provide input on the development and integration of effective system-wide and building-level instructional technology programs
• Support the effectiveness of instructional technology: investigate, disseminate, and apply research on digital tools, software, resources, and best practices for technology integration
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration and connectivity issues between our Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and third-party applications
• Ensure all data integrity with all district applications, verify that all rostering and data is correct, and conduct regular audits of active software to verify integrity
• Implement, manage, and support district user accounts for all district instructional software and applications
• Serve as the contact person for users regarding issues with instructional software; contact support services and vendors to resolve complex technical bugs
• Serve on the District Technology Committee to support student learning; incorporate principles
  of the district technology plan into use by staff
• Manage the district website as needed, and add, edit, and act as district support for all web related material. Serve as the district web manager and support building web managers
• Manage multiple data stream and conflicting priorities without losing track of details
• Provide assistance with district technology initiatives and projects as needed. Assists other departments on special projects as assigned
• Perform other duties, related to the job, as assigned

TERMS: Full-time with benefits; $65,883+ annual, with possible steps for experience and additional amount for education
