Security Officer Area Patrol

Position Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Lenoir, NC Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and/or contractor processing in accordance with site policies for a high-availability operations environment. Communicate with site contacts, control centers, and/or first responders during routine and unusual events while supporting assigned security-related procedures and post orders. Minimum Requirements CPR and First Aid are preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. This is primarily a driving post. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
