Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Assisted Living Facility located in Fort Worth, Texas. Within this dynamic work setting, the Cardiologist Nurse Practitioner will engage closely with a team that includes experienced cardiologists, nurse practitioners, cardiac surgeons, and support staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations through detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic tests to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and manage a wide variety of cardiovascular diseases, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Perform and interpret essential cardiac tests and imaging procedures, such as echocardiograms and stress tests, to guide treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, which may involve medication management and lifestyle modifications tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Execute interventional procedures like angioplasty and stenting while ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
• Work in collaboration with our multidisciplinary teams to craft holistic care plans and coordinate patient interventions effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, preventative measures, and disease management techniques.
• Contribute to clinical trials and research projects aimed at advancing the field of cardiology.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and patient documentation utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with the latest cardiology advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists primarily of adult patients, typically ranging from those with chronic heart conditions to individuals requiring preventive cardiac evaluations. This role emphasizes a patient-centered approach, where compassionate care and education play crucial roles in achieving optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Cardiology.
• Board certification or active eligibility in cardiology via the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or an equivalent body.
• Current medical license to practice in Texas.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting and interpreting a variety of cardiac tests and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills essential for a team-based healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits
