You're a great fit for this role if you love...

• Thoroughly cleaning and preparing assigned guestrooms and bathrooms to meet hotel cleanliness standards.
• Dusting furniture and surfaces, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, making beds, changing linens, and cleaning floors.
• Emptying trash, removing debris, and keeping guestrooms fresh, organized, and guest-ready.
• Spot-cleaning walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Respectfully tidying guest belongings when appropriate while maintaining guest privacy and personal space.
• Restocking towels, facial tissue, toilet tissue, bathroom amenities, and other required guestroom supplies.
• Using the appropriate cleaning products and chemicals for each surface while following OSHA and company safety and sanitation standards.
• Safely operating vacuums, housekeeping carts, and other cleaning equipment according to manufacturer and hotel procedures.
• Keeping housekeeping carts and linen rooms clean, organized, and safe.
• Cleaning public areas and other hotel spaces as needed to support the Housekeeping team.
• Reporting maintenance issues promptly so they can be addressed before they impact the guest experience.
• Properly managing assigned keys and following all hotel security procedures.
• Turning in lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office so they can be properly documented and secured.
• Reporting accidents, injuries, hazards, and unsafe working conditions to leadership.
• Following proper procedures when handling heavy loads, heavily soiled linens, cleaning chemicals, and other potentially hazardous materials.
• Using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when appropriate.
• Maintaining a clean, polished, and professional appearance throughout each shift.
• Understanding and following emergency procedures for both the Housekeeping department and the hotel.
• Working collaboratively with Housepersons, Supervisors, Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel teams to support an exceptional guest experience.

Education and Experience

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Previous hotel Room Attendant experience preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership.
• English language skills preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow hotel safety, sanitation, chemical-handling, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed based on business needs.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including more than four hours during a shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to manipulate both large and small objects throughout the shift.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in guest rooms, guest corridors, service corridors, housekeeping offices, linen areas, and other hotel spaces.
• Ability to work around varying temperatures, including extreme heat or cold.
• Ability to work around varying noise levels.
• Ability to work around dust, odors, fumes, cleaning chemicals, and other environmental hazards.
• Ability to safely work around potentially biohazardous materials while following established procedures and using required PPE.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and heavily soiled linens according to company procedures.
• Must wear closed-toe, non-canvas, non-skid-soled shoes while working.
