Exciting opportunity available for experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide dedicated support within a K-12 school environment. This contract assignment near Leonardtown, MD offers a meaningful chance to make a lasting impact on students across all grade levels in a collaborative educational setting. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and extends through late May 2027, offering long-term professional stability.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Eligible for or currently holding a Maryland BCBA license
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in schools or clinical settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and administrators
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor behavioral intervention plans
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to student growth and advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to a K-12 caseload
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop data-driven intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to support student success
- Offer professional development and training to school personnel regarding behavior management techniques
- Regularly review student progress, update plans, and document interventions in compliance with district requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions
