RN Day and Night Corrections Facility

Provide high-quality nursing care to inmates across day and night shifts. Monitor vital signs, document changes, and elevate concerns promptly. Administer medications per physician orders and verifications. Implement infection control practices and safety protocols. Assist in triage and crisis response during medical emergencies. Maintain accurate, confidential inmate health records and logs. Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure safe, compliant care delivery. Participate in performance-driven metrics and contribute to care quality pipelines. Support professional development through mentoring and continuing education. Provide patient and family education within facility policies and constraints. Ensure on-site nursing supplies are stocked and equipment calibrated. Experience/Qualifications Registered Nurse with current licensure and BLS certification. Experience in corrections healthcare or high-security facilities preferred. Proficient medication administration and verification per orders. Ability to monitor vital signs, document changes, and elevate promptly. Infection control practices and safety protocol adherence. Crisis triage and emergency response skills within a correctional setting. Accurate confidential health record keeping and logs. Strong collaboration with correctional staff while maintaining patient safety. Demonstrated ability to meet performance metrics and care pipelines.
