The firm's expertise is diverse but focused in the areas of toxic tort, complex product liability, local government, general liability, and commercial litigation. We approach litigation as a unified team, integrating our efforts with those of our clients to advance their interests wherever they do business. Our goal is always to deliver optimal results at the best possible value.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a litigation caseloadConduct depositionsPrepare witnesses for deposition and trialReview and analyze discovery requestsPrepare and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motionsTrial preparation and supportMaintain accurate time recordsCandidate RequirementsExperience in one or more of the following practice areas: general litigation, complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability.Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.Must be admitted to practice in the state of LouisianaExperience with motion practice and depositions.Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions is preferred but not required.Capable of independent work.Work in an organized and efficient manner.Superior research and writing skills.Ability to multi-task.Ability to analyze complex matters.Our associates work closely with our senior lawyers and clients on challenging work in an entrepreneurial and collegial environment.
