Associate Manager

Job Summary Berger Transfer & Storage, Inc. in Roseville, Minnesota is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Manager in our Operations department. This will be a Full‑time position for an individual looking to learn and expand their skills into the household moving and distribution logistics industry. The role provides the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience needed for possible promotion by working alongside managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties. Responsibilities Receive training from all key operational departments of the organization. Learn line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of the business. Work with other managers to plan and direct the work of the department and understand how it impacts the organization. Set performance goals and objectives with upper management and monitor performance progress with management and key trainers. Qualifications Minimum of secondary education in business, logistics, or management; or a high school diploma or equivalent is required. At least one year of experience in a business environment focused on adherence to policies and procedures, with customer service as a component. Previous exposure to business operations or logistics is preferred. Demonstrated experience performing the following key skills: Proficiency with typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.). Ability to work with confidential materials.
