Location: Salinas, CA
Salary: Up to $85.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends | Closed on Major Holidays
Job Type: Full-Time

An established and growing compounding pharmacy in Salinas, California is seeking an experienced Compounding Pharmacist to join its team during an exciting period of expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to build a long-term career within a growing compounding operation, offering a highly competitive hourly rate of up to $85 per hour , excellent benefits and the added advantage of no weekend or holiday working .

The Opportunity

As a Compounding Pharmacist, you'll play an important role in the continued growth of the pharmacy, working alongside an experienced team to ensure patients receive consistently high-quality compounded medications.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the preparation and dispensing of compounded medications
• Ensure compounded preparations meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy and patient safety
• Review and verify prescriptions prior to dispensing
• Work closely with pharmacy technicians and other members of the pharmacy team
• Counsel patients and communicate with prescribers when required
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Follow established compounding procedures, policies and quality standards
• Support efficient pharmacy workflow and day-to-day operations
• Contribute to the continued development and growth of the pharmacy

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a pharmacist who brings:

• An active California Pharmacist license
• Previous pharmacy experience
• Compounding pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• A thorough understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance
• The ability to work effectively within a collaborative pharmacy team
• A dependable, professional and quality-focused approach

Compensation & Schedule

$75.00–$85.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Monday–Friday
Operating hours: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
No weekends
Closed for major holidays
