General Otolaryngology Locums Clinic + OR + Light Call

Aspirus Health in Rhinelander, Wisconsin is seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment starting December 2025 . This is a bread-and-butter ENT role with a stable schedule, excellent support staff, and a predictable workflow perfect for physicians who want a balanced assignment without complex head & neck demands. This client is looking for 1-3 physicians to fill this need.

• Start Date: December 1, 2025
  

• Schedule:

  • Mon: Clinic 8a 5p (1-hr lunch)

  • Tues: OR

  • Wed: Clinic 8a 5p (1-hr lunch)

  • Thurs: Clinic 8a 5p (1-hr lunch)

  • Fri: OR

• Call: 1:3 call rotation; 10 shifts per month (beeper call; 20-minute response time)

• Setting: Outpatient + Inpatient (bread-and-butter ENT only)

• Patients: 20+ per clinic day

• Support Staff: 1 RN, 6 office staff, 2 audiologists

• EMR: Epic

• Privileges: Temp privileges available

The facility specifically requires standard ENT / general otolaryngology capabilities, including:

• General ENT (surgical & non-surgical)

• Endoscopic procedures

• Septal & sinus work

• Bronchoscopy (preferred)

• Flexible & rigid laryngoscopy

• Tracheotomy

• Thyroidectomy (preferred)

• Extended parotidectomy (preferred)

You do NOT need to perform the following:

• Radical neck surgery

• Facial reconstruction

• Facial surgery

• Facial implants

• Blepharoplasty

• Rhinoplasty

• Complex head & neck surgery
