Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll not only handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility, but you'll dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 910 SW Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61605. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining branch inventory, receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory, making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.

Required position qualifications include being 18 years of age or older, possessing a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, proficient written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, the ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities, being highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented, demonstrating attention to detail and strong sense of urgency, working independently as well as in a team environment, and demonstrating our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork. Preferred qualifications include previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory.

Fastenal offers a 401(k) with an employer contribution. The pay range for this position is $16/hr -18/hr.
