Your future role at a glance Location: Kyle, TX Facility: Seton Medical Center-Hays Department/Specialty: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Schedule: Rotating shift | PRN How you'll make an impact in this role Perform diagnostic CT Technologist duties by operating CT scanner equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare, screen, educate, and position patients while selecting precise anatomic and technical parameters to ensure safe, effective patient care. Apply radiation safety standards and quality control protocols to protect patients and staff while maintaining regulatory compliance. Submit complete, high-quality images and clinical documentation to PACS and Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring accuracy and timely interpretation. Monitor CT equipment performance, report malfunctions promptly, and maintain a clean, organized imaging department to support efficient operations. What minimum qualifications you'll need BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS) also accepted. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program preferred. Education High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional requirements you'll need 1 year MRI experience preferred.
