Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting across a range of surgical cases
• Collaborate with Surgical Technologists, who are utilized for all cases — RNs are not required to scrub
• Participate in weekend and holiday call as needed; call is typically minimal, averaging once every couple of months
• Work two of the three winter holidays as part of the travel assignment requirements
• Complete pre-start onboarding modules no later than one week prior to start date via the facility's online portal

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current, recent Operating Room RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Proof of residency must match candidate's licensure state
• Local travelers are welcome; rates are the same regardless of proximity to the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience working in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
