Diagnostic Cardiology Technician

Performs diagnostic cardiology procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care (newborn, infant, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric). Responsibilities:

• Handle multiple tasks/projects
• Good communication skills
• Ethical and professional conduct
• Good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, weekend rotate
• Demonstrate a high degree of concentration, memory retention, alertness and the ability to handle stress with quick response to assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications:

• One to three years experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of cardiovascular technology, cardiac pathophysiology, hemodynamics
• EKG recordings: prep, technique, and lead placements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of dysrhythmia course
• BLS required

Pay Range: $19.11-$27.87
