Travel RN – Step Down / PCU | Missouri
13-Week Contract | Night Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours

Seeking an experienced **Step Down / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN)** for a travel assignment in Missouri. Join a dedicated team providing high-quality care to critically ill medical and surgical patients in a fast-paced Step Down environment.

### Requirements:
• Active Missouri RN License
• Minimum 3 years of Critical Care experience required
• ICU and PCU experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with vasoactive drip titration and advanced patient monitoring
• Must be willing to float as needed

### Assignment Details:
• 13-week contract
• Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Holiday coverage required
• Floating required
• Meditech EMR
• W-2 employment only (No 1099)

### Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Step Down and PCU patients
• Manage surgical, medical, and neurological patient populations
• Titrate vasoactive medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Phenylephrine
• Perform IV insertion and manage PICC lines, central lines, arterial lines, and dialysis fistulas
• Care for patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, tracheostomy care, wound vacs, feeding tubes, and PCA/Epidural pumps
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Follow hospital policies and evidence-based nursing practices
