You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 11 students, fostering growth and development for each child.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Demonstrated experience or strong understanding of multi-categorical special education settings
• Familiarity with crafting and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to provide differentiated instruction across a range of abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability and commitment to supporting diverse learning needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver engaging lessons tailored for a self-contained classroom of grades 3-5
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students on caseload
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured environment for learners with diverse needs
• Collect data and track student progress to inform instruction and IEP updates
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all required special education documentation
