Reconstruction Estimator / Project Manager – San Diego Area

We are looking for an experienced Reconstruction Estimator / Project Manager to join our team and manage residential and commercial restoration projects throughout the San Diego area.

Responsibilities

• Manage reconstruction projects from estimate through completion.
• Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate and/or Symbility.
• Review scopes, supplements, change orders, and insurance estimates.
• Develop and manage project budgets, costs, and profit margins.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and project schedules.
• Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, TPA representatives, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Conduct jobsite visits and final walkthroughs to ensure work is completed according to the approved scope.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely project closeout.
• Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and customer concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing construction, reconstruction, or restoration estimate and managing projects
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction.
• Experience with insurance restoration and insurance claim processes.
• Proficient in Xactimate and/or Symbility.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, job costing, and profit margins.
• Excellent organization, time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong follow-through, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Being a team player.
• Taking ownership of their projects, communicates well, stays on top of deadlines and costs, and works well as part of a team.
