Department: PHLS Salary: Commensurate with Experience Description: The Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program in the Psychological, Health, and Learning Sciences Department (PHLS) in the College of Education at the University of Houston offers a broad range of undergraduate-level courses and has occasional openings for temporary, part-time lecturers. Lecturer appointments are made on a semester basis but may be renewed by the PHLS Department as needed. Our university is located in the heart of Houston, Texas, the nation’s fourth largest city. This metropolitan area offers scholars rich urban and suburban environments in which to work and live. In addition to your CV, please attach a cover letter describing your (a) qualifications, (b) interest in the position, (c) teaching experience, and (d) teaching philosophy. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Human Development & Family Studies or related fields Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates.
