Standard Hours: 40.00 per week Shift: 1st Shift Details: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with potential fluctuation. Primary location Town Hall Health Center, with 4-6 months training at Eye Institute before release. Occasional travel to satellite clinics required. Job Summary The ophthalmic photographer assists ophthalmologists in eye examinations using various photographic equipment. Duties include anterior and posterior segment clinical ophthalmic imaging, research participation, preparing patients, troubleshooting equipment. Tests performed: OCT, fundus photography, fluorescein and ICG angiography, slit lamp bio microscopy, and ultrasonography. Other duties as assigned. Experience Knowledge of cameras and photographic techniques is required. Knowledge of medical and ophthalmologic terminology is required. Minimum of 2 years general medical photography or 1 year ophthalmic photography is preferred. Education High School diploma or equivalent required. Licensure American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire. Current CRA or OCT-C or working toward certification preferred. Special Skills Excellent verbal and written communication. Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience with reporting and analytics preferred. Demonstrates understanding of DEA regulations and controlled substance ordering requirements.
