Procurement Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement & Purchasing Lead to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing activities in support of large‑scale mechanical and electrical installation projects. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring materials and equipment are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and delivered on schedule to support project execution across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment and has experience supporting complex installations such as warehouse automation, material handling systems, or industrial construction projects. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations, and purchase order management Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and equipment vendors Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to support project timelines and budget targets Coordinate closely with project management and operations teams to forecast material requirements Track procurement commitments, budgets, and delivery schedules across multiple projects Ensure purchasing documentation, contracts, and vendor agreements are properly maintained Identify opportunities to optimize purchasing strategies and improve supply chain efficiency Qualifications 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, construction, or industrial installation projects preferred Strong vendor negotiation and contract management experience Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement timelines simultaneously Proficiency with procurement systems, ERP platforms, or purchasing tools Strong organizational and communication skills Preferred Experience Background in warehouse automation, material handling, industrial equipment, or construction procurement Experience purchasing mechanical systems, electrical components, or large equipment Familiarity with project‑based procurement environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Gravity IT Resources
