\nLeidos has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to support our Intelligence Sector in the Washington Metropolitan Area. We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, self-starting contracts professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and serves as a trusted business advisor to leadership, capture teams, and program management.
\n \nAt Leidos, our Contracts organization serves as a strategic business partner, enabling mission success while protecting the company's interests through sound business judgment, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management. As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will play a key role by providing governance, contracts proposal lead, contract administration, compliance oversight, customer relationship management, and contract risk management across a dynamic portfolio of programs supporting critical national security missions.
\n \nThe selected candidate will lead a diverse and complex portfolio of U.S. Government contracts supporting the Analysis Solutions Business Area , providing cradle-to-grave contract management throughout the acquisition lifecycle. This position requires significant experience administering and negotiating complex Government contracts, leading proposal activities, identifying and mitigating contractual risk, and developing business solutions that balance customer requirements with Leidos' business objectives.
\n \nAs a Senior Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will operate with considerable independence while also working as part of a team in a dynamic environment. The position requires exceptional judgment, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence decisions at all organizational levels while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.

- The Intelligence Sector within Leidos has a career opening for a Senior Contracts Manager to support contracts within the Analysis Solution Business Area. \n
- The candidate should have progressive experience providing cradle-to-grave contract administration support for various CP, FFP, T&M Government contracts including RFP analysis, hands-on proposal development including the development of terms and conditions, coordination of appropriate internal reviews, contract negotiation, and contract/task order administration and execution. \n
- Candidate will be responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws. Candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts. \n

- This is a hybrid position that will require working on government site and Leidos facility in support of programs. In person support shall include a minimum of two days a week but may increase dependent on program needs. \n
- Candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization. \n
- Ability to lead the review and analysis of RFP's, prepare compliant and cost/price proposals, and represent Leidos’s interests during negotiations and contract administration. \n

- Frequently interact with other contracts and procurement staff, functional peers, management and external and internal customers. \n
- Identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with Leidos policy and procedures. Lead the review and analysis of RFPs, review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, NDAs and licenses as required, prepare compliant and complete Contracts Volumes and OCI Plans, and represent Leidos’ interests during negotiations and contract administration. \n
Basic Qualifications

- Requires a BA degree and 12 or more years of prior relevant experience; or a Masters with 10 + years of prior relevant experience. \n
- General experience in Contract Administration may be considered in lieu of degree. \n
- Experience with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts. \n
- Must have the ability to make sound business judgments, handle multiple contractual activities with a short turn-around time, and work independently as well as part of a Team. \n
- Must have proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions \n
- The Candidate must be proficient with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. \n
- Must have demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to identify and mitigate contract risks and coordinate appropriate reviews in compliance with Leidos policies and procedures. \n
- Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required. \n

- Strong knowledge of IC Acquisitions and Regulations \n
- Completion of formal contracting coursework or certification. \n
- Success in supporting large capture teams for complicated multi-year programs. \n
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex contractual issues on active contracts. \n
