Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying against purchase orders for accuracy. Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Coordinate with carriers for timely pickup and delivery of shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing materials. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving areas for cleanliness and efficiency. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records and shipments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with the role Bonus Qualifications Experience operating a forklift, including relevant certification. Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
