Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate attorney in Edwardsville, Illinois, with 1-5+ years of experience preferred. The firm handles cases in both Illinois and Missouri state and federal courts, covering areas such as personal injury, workers' compensation, toxic tort, insurance disputes, mass transit, and products liability. Responsibilities Collaborate with a managing partner on assigned caseloads. Draft pleadings and conduct discovery. Appear in court and conduct depositions. Perform legal research and writing. Attend mediations and engage in trial practice. Requirements Licensed in both Illinois and Missouri, or eligible to be. Self-motivated and eager to tackle new challenges. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in Illinois and Missouri. Skills Strong legal research and writing abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
