Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time

Position Overview As a Physical Therapy Assistant , you will provide skilled education, treatment, and interventions under the direction of a physical therapist and physician, focusing on patient care in a home health setting. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicate updates to patients and caregivers, and ensure safe, effective therapy services aimed at pain relief and functional restoration. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct physical therapy according to the plan of care. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, safety, and device use. Report patient observations and progress to supervisors and physicians. Develop discharge plans and communicate instructions to patients and families. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress. Participate in ongoing training and adhere to professional standards. Qualifications And Skills Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Valid CPR certification. Additional Requirements Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to react productively to change.
