REALTY SPECIALIST

DutiesImplement policy concerning the management of federal real property encompassing the real property life cycle.Develops policy and guidance to ensure compliance with the Chief Financial Officer Act.Develops training programs to ensure qualified personnel are available at various levels for the conduct of the real property accounting program.Conduct analyses, error detection and makes recommendations of actions necessary to ensure that the real property inventory (RPI) contained in the proper databases accurately.Develop procedures for the review of regulations to include real property regulations.Provide analysis of management and capitalization differences.Review issues and recommends courses of action relating to management of real property, maintenance, repair and disposal of buildings.Determine redundancy between data elements with different names but identical uses and recommends technical changes to affected tables and data elements.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 5% of this position's time QualificationsWho May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Reviewing real property data located in tables and/or data elements to ensure accuracy and proper valuation; Analyzing real property data and ensuring it follows regulations and/or federal laws; and Preparing responses to various inquiries regarding the agency's facility planning and/or management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
