Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Respiratory Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Trauma experience required. 2 years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience - hard stop. Must have Level 3 NICU/PICU or adult experience with strong PICU experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: All levels of Level 3 NICU, PICU, and adult ICU experience strongly preferred. Preferred experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: All RTO must be listed at time of submission. Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer. Must work 2 or 3 major holidays and must be available to work Christmas holiday.

Unit Details: Neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Adult and pediatric trauma care, adult open-heart surgery, and floor therapy. Provides RT therapies including NIV, high flow, nebulizers, CPT, nitric oxide, and Flolan nebulizer. Uses Draeger vents for adults, Servo-I for PICU and NICU, and 3100A, 3100B, and Jet ventilators in NICU.

Shift & Scheduling: Day 07:00-19:00 or night 19:00-07:30. No call. Weekend required.

Floating Requirements: Will float within scope to NICU, PICU, and adult units to meet facility needs.
