Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill patients. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing interventions in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans for ICU patients.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and safety protocols.
Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters continuously.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Document patient progress, treatments, and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, procedures, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid California RN license uploaded to Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of current ICU nursing experience.
Maintain AHA or ARC certifications, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS with valid expiration dates.
Demonstrate strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
Be willing to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotations based on census.
Ability to complete required compliance onboarding within 3-5 days of contract signing.
